What is This? Chupacabra? Bizarre Animal Discovered In Oklahoma

The legend of the Chupacabra continues after an image has emerged on Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) Facebook page. They have called it a squirrel without fur, but to many it is the legendary Chupacabra.
Here is what ODWC wrote in the caption: “Ever seen a squirrel missing all its fur? Here’s one from a suburban neighborhood in the Metro area. Oftentimes, wildlife with unusual conditions such as this are mistaken for legendary or mythical creatures. Either way, they sure are exciting to see. Have any unusual wildlife photos to share? Post them!”
The Chupacabra or Chupacabras gets its name from the Spanish words chupar “to suck” and cabra “goat”, literally “goat sucker”. Chupacabra is a legendary cryptid rumored to inhabit parts of the Americas. It is associated more recently with sightings of an allegedly unknown animal in Puerto Rico (where these sightings were first reported), Mexico, and the United States, especially in the latter’s Latin American communities. The name comes from the animal’s reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats
